There are reasons people set boundaries, and reasons people (even unconsciously) talk themselves out of setting boundaries. Part of this work is first learning to uncover the beliefs that are keeping you stuck in the same patterns of insecurity, unhappiness and fear.

One of the steps I walk you through in my upcoming program (launching this fall) is identifying and uprooting those beliefs, and rewriting yourself more true, authentic ones to live by. This is how we ensure we are no longer showing up in relationships expecting others to do only what we can do for ourselves— set limits that protect our energy, peace and overall well-being.

Have you talked yourself out of setting boundaries before? If so, why?
