It’s true though, we work so hard to get others to love and respect and accept us… yet we don’t love and respect and accept ourselves first.
I had this conversation with a friend yesterday. When we begin the journey back home to ourselves, when we learn how to honor what we need and befriend who we have been and where we are headed, we no longer settle for anything less…
this means:
〰️sabotaging progress
〰️gossiping
〰️harmful behavior patterns
〰️shitty friendships
〰️giving more than receiving
〰️the self destruction + chaos…
won’t be appealing anymore.
