Often it is easier to push out the joy, the peace, the happiness…then it is to let it in. This is a practice.
For so long, we may grow accustomed to pain, anxiety, loss, that to feel anything different would be painful in itself.
And so we push, avoid, do more, quit first, and deny help. We self sabotage, until we stop and notice. It always starts first, with the noticing.
