Self harm is when…

Courtney J. Burg, Writer + Mentor

It’s pretty bad when we accept mistreatment from those we care about. It’s even worse when we convince ourselves that this is being loyal and how we love.

Justifying or defending their poor behavior does not mean you are more compassionate, kind or considerate. It means you are conditioned to abandon self to stay connected, even when that connection hurts.

The good news is, it doesn’t have to be this way forever. I have a membership launching in August that will guide you back to your self; the self that you’ve forgotten. The self that has been buried beneath the weight of caring for everyone else. The self that is beautiful, confident, and worthy.
