This time of year may have you feeling a bit anxious, and perhaps even hopeful about the holiday season with family— and I don’t want that to change! Having hope is so important. But this hope can become a distraction for you and deter you from taking the necessary precautions to care for yourself. People and things may very well be different this year, but they may be the same. Not establishing a boundary practice will leave you feeling resentful, bitter and blaming those you love for it… again. Don’t wait to see how everyone else behaves to begin claiming your freedom, confidence, and peace now. Emotional hangovers are avoidable, and I believe this holiday season can be different for you!
